My house has stupid variations in temperature between rooms, so I want something to be able to monitor all rooms and give an idea on how each of them is doing.
I'm thinking battery powered for portability, so low power usage is pretty important, as I don't want to have to spend a fortune on batteries for them.
Initial steps have been taken, getting NRF24L01+ wireless chips working with a pair of MSP430 chips, including a battery powered breadboard using a CR2032 coin cell and no power regulation. Details of this can be found at github.com/EdBrereton/WirelessSensors
